Three more prime businesses join Cambridge Ahead

Another three leading Cambridge businesses have joined Cambridge Ahead. Mott Macdonald, Sepura and Strutt & Parker have become members, taking the total to 39 full member organisations.

The firm’s Cambridge operation has recently moved into the new building at 22 Station Road, in the CB1 district, next to Cambridge Ahead.

The Sepura Group is a global leader in the design, manufacture and supply of digital radio products, systems and applications developed specifically for business and mission critical communications. Its origins can be traced back to Pye, founded in 1886. Typical customers are organisations in public safety (such as police, fire service and ambulance), public transport, airports, oil & gas, mining, commercial and military sectors. Sepura has an international network of partners supplying organisations in over 100 countries worldwide. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange and its global HQ is in Cambridge Research Park.

Strutt & Parker is an independent UK property partnership with more than 45 offices, and over 800 staff, across England and Scotland. Established in 1885, the business today provides professional support on all matters relating to land and property – whether offices or farms, country houses or business parks, leisure centres or dairy farms, new home construction or rural estate management. It is one of the largest property partnerships in the UK, offering services and professional support in all aspects of property and land. Its Cambridge office is on Hills Road near Station Road.

Welcoming these new members, Jane Paterson-Todd, CEO, said, “I am very pleased to welcome another three influential organisations to the Cambridge Ahead membership, which now totals thirty-nine. Mott MacDonald, Sepura and Strutt & Parker are key players in Cambridge but are also of national or international importance. We will benefit hugely from their views and knowledge, and by extension so will Cambridge.”
