OE Cam LLP appoints new Partner

OE Cam LLP (Organisation Effectiveness Cambridge) has appointed Hazel McLaughlin as Partner. A specialist in leadership development and business transformation, Hazel joins OE Cam from Human Factors International where she was Managing Director Europe.

She will bring this commercial mind-set and global experience to a firm whose clients include Greene King, Jordans Dorset Ryvita, Travis Perkins, Odeon and Primark.

Hazel is an experienced chartered occupational psychologist and has held Executive and Non-Executive board level roles at SHL Group and Saville Consulting. Having co-founded and directed independent consultancy People Transform, Hazel has specialist experience in senior level assessment and development, organisational effectiveness, employee engagement and leadership development.

An expert in how technology impacts the workplace, Hazel believes that coaching and personal development is more important now than ever before, as the UK economy focuses on the value of its richest resource – its people.  The support of women is business is key to this objective and McLaughlin was a key contributor to the British Psychological Society’s report on gender imbalance.  She advises on how to attract and grow female talent in business.

OE Cam’s Managing Partner Martyn Sakol commented: “We are delighted to have a partner of Hazel’s calibre join OE Cam.  She is a highly regarded and experienced Occupational Psychologist, who combines deep insight about people and organisations, with solid, practical business commerciality.  She will add real value to our clients and to OE Cam, and we look forward to working with her to develop our practice and proposition.”

Hazel is a regular guest lecturer on the Masters Programme at the Institute of Psychiatry at King’s College London, is an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (BPS), a past Chair of the Division of Occupational Psychology and Deputy Chair of Professional Practice Board, and a lead author on a number of BPS white papers and government consultations.
