Team lends a hand at children's hospice

Cambridge BID spent a day this week volunteering in the gardens of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospice in Milton. The team helped out the hospice by doing maintenance in the gardens and also the play area.

East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) is Cambridge BID’s chosen charity for 2015-16.  So far it has raised £4,606.41 for the charity, which helps support families and care for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk.  Cambridge Business Improvement District (BID) is a collaboration of more than 1,000 businesses working together to promote and improve the city centre.

Becky Burrell, Marketing Manager at Cambridge BID said:  “What an incredible experience, we all thoroughly enjoyed the day and it was one that I would recommend to any individual or business.   It really shows what can be achieved when you take time out from the normal every day to do something for other people.   We’re proud to be able to play a part in supporting children in our local community.”
