Join in and spin this weekend for Arthur Rank Hospice Charity

Five enthusiastic members of Neil Marsh Health and Fitness, Willingham, will be taking part in a 24 hour-long energy-defying Spinathon today (Friday 6 May) and tomorrow (Saturday 7 May).

The team – who aim to cycle on static bikes for a whole day continuously to raise money for the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity - are inviting you to join them for an hour at any point between 3.30pm today Friday and 3.30pm tomorrow.

The epic cycling feat will take place at Highgate Farm in Willingham, with team members Steve Webster and Nicole Webster (Willingham), Anna Sperring (Over) and Janice Crane (Cottenham) teaming up alongside Neil of Neil Marsh Health and Fitness (Willingham) on their static bikes.

Neil explains the thinking behind the fundraising feat: "I want to help as many people as possible improve their health and lifestyle through exercise. Neil Marsh Health and Fitness and Arthur Rank Hospice Charity have a common goal: making a real difference to people’s lives.

“We’re really looking forward to the Spinathon on Friday into Saturday, and are inviting willing volunteers to pay £5 to join us for an hour. Not only will it be great motivation to help keep the five of us going, but it’s a novel way for you to do an hour’s exercise whilst raising money for a great charity. Many of our members’ friends and relatives have benefited from Arthur Rank Hospice’s care and services and we want to give something back and carry on making a real difference.”

If you would like to join the team for an hour slot during the 24 hours between 3.30pm Friday and 3.30pm Saturday, please call 01954 260235.

The spinners would also welcome cheers and moral support at any time of the day or night, so please feel free to visit Unit 2D-F, Highgate Farm, Over Road in Willingham between the same hours or show your support via their online donation page at http://www.justgiving.com/Neil-Marsh7
