#TeamARHC raises over £107,000 in 12 months!

It's been an incredible year for Arthur Rank Hospice Charity's trekkers, runners, walkers, cyclists, skydivers and ultra-challengers.

Challengers ranging from runners to trekkers to sky divers came together last week to celebrate some amazing achievements of #TeamARHC in the last 12 months.

Between April 2015 and March 2016 a whopping £107,393.17 was raised for Arthur Rank Hospice Charity through supporters taking part in events such as Marathons (in London, Brighton, Rome, Paris, Belfast), Half Marathons (Cambridge, Silverstone, Milton Keynes), Treks (Sahara, Three Peaks, Great Glen Way), Cycles (London to Paris, Ride London) and 13,000ft Skydives.

Community Fundraiser Amy Bidwell says “Supporters come to me, with an idea of what they would like to achieve, or they haven’t a clue what it is they want to do. But one thing is always very clear; they want to contribute to the charity and enable us to continue making a difference to people’s lives. This is often after personal experience in which their gratitude creates an overwhelming need to give something back. What better way than to show your support than to test yourself physically and mentally?

"The level of commitment to both training and fundraising this year has been phenomenal, from organising the simplest cake sale to running a number of half marathons in preparation of a full 26.2 mile one! We are so proud of our #TeamARHC members and no matter how big or small, their challenges mean so much to the charity and would like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone involved. You are amazing!”

The next 12 months are just as jam packed with events you could get involved in or you could think of the most obscure challenge and the Charity will help you to do it!
