Cheffins Commercial Property and Planning and Development teams go from strength to strength

East Anglian-based Cheffins has strengthened its offering in both Commercial Property and its Planning and Development teams with a series of promotions this month.

The Cheffins Commercial Property team is one of the most prolific in the Greater Cambridge region, having achieved standout results across the sector. Promoted this month were Steven Harvey, Gareth Brewer and Lorna Gordon to Associate level, all of whom are set to increase Cheffins’ profile in the commercial property industry.

Philip Woolner, Director of Cheffins Commercial Property comments: “We are thrilled to announce these promotions across the firm. All of our employees are at the top of their fields, providing an exceptional service to a variety of clients. Cheffins has had a storming year this year, with over £20.5 million worth of investment transactions concluded and over 367,455 sq ft of commercial property let and sold in the past 12 months. Following the announcement of these promotions, Cheffins will continue to dominate the commercial property sector, in the markets in which we operate.”

Steven Harvey, formerly of another well-known property firm, has been with Cheffins for only seven months but he has already made an impact on the team with some successful deals across the retail and office sectors. Lorna Gordon has worked for Cheffins for the past four years and specialises in renewals whilst Gareth Brewer has been a Cheffins employee for over three years and has particular skill in property and facilities management.

Ben Pridgeon, who is part of the Cheffins Planning and Development team has also been promoted to Associate level. Having been an employee of Cheffins for around 18 months, Pridgeon joined the firm from Mott McDonald, an environmental and engineering consultancy. Specialising in planning, project management and environmental co-ordination, he has helped to enforce Cheffins as the firm of choice for a range of planning and development schemes in the Greater Cambridge region.

Ian Smith, Director of Planning and Development at Cheffins comments: “Ben Pridgeon’s promotion to Associate is testament to the excellent work he has demonstrated since he joined the firm. Pridgeon has been instrumental in the completion of some of the largest planning projects across the region, and I am sure that he will continue to raise the bar for the industry within the markets in which we operate. At Cheffins we provide an unrivalled service, offering advice ranging from individual building plots to major developments of several hundred dwellings, and from small businesses to major commercial schemes.”
