Stone King appoints business property lawyer to growing team

Cambridge law firm Stone King has bolstered its commercial team with the appointment of experienced business property lawyer Philip Lawrence.

Philip joins Stone King as an associate solicitor from Veale Wasbrough Vizards in Bristol, where he held a similar position. He is one of three new staff to join the firm.

Philip specialises in commercial property and property development, including advice on strategic land options and promotion agreements. He also has extensive experience dealing with commercial leases and licensed trade properties.

Also joining Stone King as a paralegal is Clare Sharp who was previously at Clark Willmott, where she was a legal secretary in financial litigation. Clare was nominated for Legal PA of the Year in 2013 and 2015.

Stone King also welcomes Darcy Short who joins the firm’s HR team as an apprentice recruitment administrator. This is Darcy's first role within HR.

Stone King’s Managing Partner Steven Greenwood said: “We are delighted to welcome Philip, Clare and Darcy to the team at what is an exciting time of growth for the firm.

“Philip has extensive experience helping clients buy, sell and lease commercial property, as well as advising them on the development of land for commercial and other uses. His expertise will be of great benefit to Stone King’s many commercial clients.

“We also wish Clare and Darcy every success in their new roles.”
