New programme focuses on successful high-tech marketing

A new programme from Cambridge Judge Business School deals with the key marketing strategies and processes that enable the successful diffusion and adoption of a new product, or innovation.

Cambridge Judge Business School Executive Education are pleased to introduce their new Successful High Tech Marketing Programme which runs from 6-7 December 2012. This two day programme deals with the key marketing strategies and processes that enable the successful diffusion and adoption of a new product, or innovation.

The programme is held in central Cambridge and is aimed at those who manage innovation and technology-based products, such as marketing managers, product managers and sales managers for technology companies of any size. It is also suitable for any entrepreneurs and executives wishing to broaden their strategic horizon in the context of innovation and technology marketing.

Programme Director, Dr Eden Yin explains the importance of the programme:‘Marketing is critical for high tech firms more so than for other types of firms because selling technology-centered products to customers requires deep insights on consumer psychology and behaviour in both B2C and B2B markets. Speed of change and uncertainty characterize the high-tech marketplace. Not only high tech firms need to know marketing, but they need to understand marketing in a profound way in order to be successful. This module allows high tech managers to obtain an overall view of the important marketing issues related to high tech firms, such as diffusion of innovation, high tech market segmentation, paradigm shift management, product and pricing strategies and a few other topics.’
