New CEO takes the helm at Marketing College

Changes have been announced at Cambridge Marketing College (CMC) as Kiran Kapur takes over as CEO this month. Founder of the College Charles Nixon becomes International Ambassador.

Ms Kapur (pictured) has been a Director at the College for several years and managed its expansion into India, UAE and Egypt. She also established the Marketing Channel, CMC’s audio venture with Star Radio.

Charles Nixon has been Chairman of CMC since its inception. Over the past quarter of a century, CMC has put over 8000 delegates through its courses, most of them achieving Chartered Institute of Marketing qualifications. It is now one of the leading institutions of its type in Europe, and celebrated its 25th year in business in 2016.

Charles Nixon is a member of the Harvard Business Review Advisory Board and a Fellow of CAM, the Communications and Advertising body.

“I am extremely proud of the achievements of the College over the last quarter century. The innovation we have brought to professional education has marked us out as a pioneer, and we look confidently to the next 25 years”, said Charles Nixon. “Now is the time to hand over control to a younger pair of hands.”

“I am looking forward enormously to the challenge of taking CMC to the next stage of its development”, said Kiran Kapur.

“Developments in digital marketing, our international ambitions, combined with the increasing importance of marketing post-Brexit, make this a very exciting time to be in marketing education.”
