Alexis Moreau has joined as conference and catering manager. With an abundance of international experience in the catering and hospitality industry, Alexis brings a wealth of knowledge to continue developing Robinson College as a prominent city centre destination for conference and event organisers.
His most recent achievement involved developing and implementing a new strategy to deliver high quality, cost effective, customer service focused hospitality and catering operations within a large multi-site corporate organisation.
Commenting on his new role, Alexis said: “I’m excited to bring my expertise in both the service delivery and catering and hospitality industries to the College. Customer service is a key part of my role and I’m always looking for ways to exceed expectations – this is key in delivering exceptional service to our guests. My role involves working closely with Robinson College’s conference and catering team to make sure we continue to make customer service a key focus and strength.”
Chelsea Roberts has been appointed as reservations coordinator, which is a newly created role focusing on the College’s aim to grow its reservation service through online travel agents, such as booking.com. To support this potential increase in the corporate B&B business, the College required someone to concentrate solely on this area whilst providing a dedicated, professional and personal service. Chelsea previously worked at Arundel House Hotel as senior receptionist.
Nick Milne, college steward at Robinson College, said: “The College continues to evolve its service to deliver innovative and forward-thinking conferences and events. Alexis and Chelsea will be an integral part of this development and will support the College’s vision of growing its position as an industry leader. We look forward to working as a team to ensure this success.”
