Since opening in 2011, Hot Numbers has already staked its place as ‘a Cambridge institution’. The original Gwydir Street location still acts as a hub for all coffee-lovers and now Hot Numbers 2 with its brew bar, provides a welcome destination in Trumpington Street.

Having its own roastery, owner Simon Fraser is able to carefully control the roasting techniques of single origin beans (ethically sourced and directly traded), with small batches medium roasted to retain the unique character of each coffee over four bean choices: Swiss water processed decaf, a lighter filter roast and two espresso roasts with textured milk options.

Also available at both coffee houses are teas, cakes (locally sourced), breakfast and lunch selections with gluten free and vegan options and there’s also complimentary Wi-Fi.

Over at Gwydir Street, there’s always something happening with live jazz/blues music, drink & draw nights, artist talks and all with a licensed bar serving wine and craft beers (including a Hot Numbers own label), espresso martinis and, of course, single origin coffee.

If you are too busy to make it to either cafe,  Hot Numbers has its own coffee club, delivering freshly roasted and seasonally changing coffee to your door.
