Stortford-based Tees has been nominated for two accolades at this year’s prestigious LawCareers.Net (LCN) Training and Recruitment Awards.
Tees’ team picks up two award nominations
The law firm is up for Best Recruiter - Medium Regional Firm and Letty Glaister, Tees' Training Principal (pictured), has been nominated as Best Training Principal (small trainee intake). Letty oversees the recruitment of the firm's trainee solicitors and their progress during their two-year training contract.
The LCN awards have been going for nearly 15 years and set out to identify and laud top employers in the legal profession who give their trainees a flying start. More than 2,000 trainees and newly qualified solicitors are surveyed to gain a really accurate picture of which firms do a great job in recruitment and training.
Letty Glaister said: “We are extremely proud to have been nominated in two categories this year, after winning the Best Trainer - Medium Regional Firm in last year’s awards. These nominations are testament to what a fine job our HR team does to recruit new trainees and the supervisors do in training them.
“We have been growing our own talent to support clients for more than 100 years. Since Stanley Tee started the firm in 1913 in Bishop’s Stortford, Tees has grown into a full-service practice with five offices across the region: in Cambridge, Bishop’s Stortford, Saffron Walden, Royston and Chelmsford. In this fast-paced world we ensure that we put our clients first, offering them a service that is second-to-none thanks to our excellent training schemes.”
Tees’ expert and approachable lawyers specialise in many areas of law including: clinical negligence, family, employment, probate and estate planning, residential conveyancing, commercial property and dispute resolution.
The LCN awards presentation ceremony takes place on Thursday 18 May 2017 at Merchant Taylors’ Hall in London, where the winners will be announced.
