Cambridge businesses invited to meet the Enterprisers of tomorrow

Cambridge businesses who want to get involved with the local entrepreneurs of the future are invited to a special networking event hosted by Cambridge Judge Business School’s Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (CfEL).

Experienced entrepreneurs, managers and experts will come together at CfEL’s annual Enterprisers programme networking evening, this year on 21 May 2014 at Wyboston Lakes, Bedfordshire. Cambridge companies who would like to find out more about sponsoring talented students to do the programme are particularly welcome at the event, where they can speak to existing sponsors about their experience and meet current programme delegates.

Around 64 students are sponsored each year by corporate and institution partners, such as American Express and HKU Space, to participate in the Enterprisers programme, an energetic and action-orientated four day residential of workshops, panel discussions, mentoring and practical learning that unlocks entrepreneurial spirit, exploits new ideas and inspires its delegates to begin new ventures.Since 2003, over 1250 students have participated in the programme.

Running from 19 May to 22 May this year, the Enterprisers programme will count ICT experts from American Express (AMEX), business competition finalists from the Arab Innovation Network, PhDs from Hong Kong University as well as PhDs and postgrads from the University of Cambridge among its 2014 delegates.

The networking session is an essential and popular part of the Enterprisers programme, and an opportunity for veteran entrepreneurs, founders, senior managers, CEOs, experts, and practitioners to network with the students, share their real-life experiences of starting up a business or working in the enterprise sector, and find out more about getting involved in future Enterprisers programmes.

To attend the structured evening networking session and informal dinner, please email the Programme Manager, Orsolya Ihasz, at enterprisers@jbs.cam.ac.uk by 5pm on 19th June.
