My First Emotions, a new multisensory resource designed to help children from birth to three years learn to understand and manage emotions, is set to help parents and teachers across the UK teach children about emotional awareness. Using play, stories and music, it focuses on five key emotions: love, happiness, sadness, anger and fear.

Alexey Manichenko, CEO and Co-Founder of Skylark Learning, comments: “We are delighted to announce the launch of this exciting new Kickstarter crowdfunding project for My First Emotions. The topic of ‘emotions’ is becoming more widely talked about, including by several high-profile celebrities recently, and this can only help children’s well-being. Support our Kickstarter campaign and together we can help children develop emotional awareness and openly talk about their feelings.”

Based on the latest research about emotional awareness, validation and regulation, My First Emotions will help children to develop good emotional understanding, leading to better relationships, academic achievement and essential life skills.

The Kickstarter campaign will enable Skylark Learning to print and manufacture its first batch of My First Emotions sets for English-speaking countries, and offer backers the opportunity to secure exclusive discounts. Backers will be rewarded with pre-order discounts, from a My First Emotions gift box starting at £12 to a full My First Emotions set available at a pre-order price of £49 (RRP £69).
