There will be a small exhibition, a poster session (new for 2018), lunch, breaks and post meeting drinks - so plenty of time for networking.
Programme
Speakers include Roya Ghafele from OxFirst who will start the afternoon off with her talk on ‘IP valuation methods under the Unified Patent Court’. OxFirst were recently awarded an IP Excellence Award as ‘Best Intellectual Property Valuation Firm' in the UK.
We are also proud that Maddy Marley from GSK will talk about searching for patents to inform decisions on Prior Art and Freedom to Operate matters.
Other talks will cover licensing of patents, know-how (ARM) and product licensing (Taylor Wessing), IP Risk mitigation, IP insurance and using IP information for better business intelligence.

Exhibition
As in previous years there will be a small exhibition giving the opportunity to meet IP search software, IP management and other IP and information service providers. So far we have the UK IPO, Minesoft, RWS, Questel, FIZ Karlsruhe/ CAS and EBSCO signed up. Posters
Find out about ongoing research into IP Matters in the UK in our Poster Session. Graduate students from UK University departments working in IP and Information related fields are being invited to submit posters to present at the meeting.
