Sara Slade Interiors is a Trumpington-based interior design studio, specialising in luxury residential projects for private clients, commercial properties and developers across London, Hertfordshire, Essex and Cambridgeshire.
Cambridge residents (with an addiction to quality furnishings), will no doubt remember the wonderful Clement Joscelyne furniture store, now sadly no longer on our high street. Sara was their senior interior designer and many of her customers from those days became clients when she formed her interior design studio in 2012. Not only is this a testament to her skills, it illustrates too the friendly and very personalised approach she has to her work.
The size and scale of the projects taken on by Sara and her team is not of primary importance – it could be designing a complete house or just getting a treasured chair re-upholstered. More importantly to them is that by listening carefully to a client’s brief, they can create an inspiring result that suits the person’s lifestyle as well as the space or piece of furniture – managing everything from concept through supply to final installation.
From CAD drawings and photo realistic 3D visuals to show clients exactly what she has designed, through to the smallest finishing, furnishing touch, Sara’s love for her job touches every aspect of her projects. With over 17 years’ experience, Sara also holds accounts with many of the interior design industry’s most prestigious suppliers.
As a big fan of the city and surrounding area, where possible she uses local suppliers including upholsterers, fitters and cabinet makers. Other suppliers on her books provide Sara with specialist paint finishes, furniture, lighting, flooring, bespoke fabric, wallpaper and rug design through to final room-styling.
