After completing his MPhil in Molecular and Cellular Biology, Chris worked for Unipath Ltd and then Swiss Precision Diagnostics as a Development Scientist and then as a Technology Specialist (Lead Scientist). He has worked across the whole product life-cycle, from concept development to manufacturing, on both existing and new technologies for future products in women’s health, with a focus of gaining CE and FDA approval.
Chris then moved away from lateral flow technology to gain technical understanding across a wider range of diagnostic technologies, working as a Product Development Scientist developing and manufacturing molecular diagnostic tests at Genetic Signatures in Sydney, Australia.
He then continued to broaden his skills beyond Research & Development by joining Clinical Genomics as the Technical Operations Manager, responsible for overseeing the production of a home bowel cancer screening kit, before returning to the UK.
Chris will manage medical device and in-vitro diagnostic projects and will be working with existing and new customers to ensure that technology concepts are developed into successful finished products.
