Hundreds of candidates flock to Cambridge Network Job Fair

Cambridge Network's latest Job Fair, held last week at the new Post Doc Centre at Eddington on the Northwest Cambridge site, attracted more than 300 potential candidates.

Jobseekers were able to meet with representatives of 20 leading Cambridge employers, all of whom are seeking to fill a range of vacancies. Visitors to the fair also benefited from a series of workshops, including CV clinics run by headline sponsor The One Group and a popular session on Emotional Intelligence led by Hilary McLellan of Indigo Talent Development.

Claire Angus, head of Cambridge Network's Recruitment Gateway, which organised the fair, commented:"Feedback from all our exhibiting companies has been extremely positive, as many of the candidates attending on this occasion were experienced professionals.

"The new venue proved a big hit, as there was plenty of room for a large number of employers to exhibit and to talk to visitors one on one about the opportunities available."

Exhibitors included Speechmatics, Solarflare, Sepura, Cambridge Healthcare Research, Cosworth, Cashflows, Roku, Featurespace, Simpri, nts, Displaylink, Graphmasters, CareTech, Enterprise rent-a-car, Starleaf, Fetch.AI, Petagene, Cambridge University Temporary Employment Service, F-Star and Fluidic Analytics.

The Cambridge Network team is now gearing up for its next recruitment event on the evening of Wednesday July 4th, which will also take place at the Post Doc Centre at Eddington. Headline sponsor will be CMR Surgical. Find out more here.
