EACH receives entire takings of barber’s first two days in new Cambridge shop

East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) is to take the entire proceeds from a very generous barber’s opening days of business in Cambridge.

Giovanni Favarulo has over 30 years of experience cutting hair and will be launching Rulo’s Barber Shop in Anstey Way, Trumpington later this month.

On Friday 18 and Saturday 19 May, the shop will have three barbers charging £10, instead of £14.50, for cuts. All money raised will go to EACH.

Kellie Charge, EACH Cambridgeshire Corporate Fundraiser, explained: “Gio wanted to do something in tribute to his mum, who passed away six years ago this coming June, and for it to be in aid of children.

“We’re really delighted EACH will benefit from this fantastic opening offer at Rulo’s and wish the business every success.”

EACH cares for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk, and supports their families.

For families accessing care and those who have been bereaved, EACH is a lifeline at an unimaginably difficult time.
