Cambridge Information and IP Meeting features two new workshops

The third Cambridge Information and IP Meeting takes place on 11th July with a theme of ‘Innovation, Valuation and Licensing’. New for this year are two workshops from two software developers who will be demonstrating novel technologies for information gathering and analysis.

Deep Search 9 from Germany’s black forest enables us to mine the deep web for competitive intelligence.  CFL Software brings a novel approach for rapidly finding patents of interest developed from  computational linguistics techniques.

The Cambridge Information and IP Meeting takes place on 11th July at Homerton College in Cambridge.

On the IP side,  speakers provide insights into patent, technology and know-how licensing, IP valuation, IP audit, and IP insurance.  On the information side, the speaker illustrates the use of information for business intelligence purposes, and highlights techniques for successful patentability and freedom to operate searching.

The organisers say: "We are delighted to introduce for 2018 two workshops.  They take place in the morning before the main programme.  Join us early to meet two software providers, both introduce new search technologies.  Deep Search 9 from the Germany’s black forest enables us to mine the deep web for competitive and technology intelligence.   CFL Software brings its computational linguistics software into the patent search space.

"The two workshops are interactive, bring your laptop or tablet ideally.   Both companies will be at the meeting in the afternoon for follow-up questions and discussions.
