Scintacor Limited exhibits at the SORMA XVII in Michigan this week

The SORMA XVII Symposium (June 11th to June 14th) is the 17th in a series of technical meetings dealing with ionizing radiation and its applications. The event began in 1964 and has subsequently been held at intervals of about every four years.

Recently, it has been held every other year in Ann Arbor and the Berkeley area alternately. The two most recent in this series were held in 2014 on the University of Michigan campus (SORMA XV) and in 2016 at the University of California, Berkeley (SORMA XVI), with a program that included over 400 attendees, patrons, and exhibitors. Its focus has expanded over the decades to include the amazing breadth of ionizing radiation measurement applications and technologies

Scintacor's specialist neutron detectors offer excellent neutron/gamma discrimination for low false detection rates. Manufactured in sheet form, which can be tiled to produce large area detectors, our neutron detectors are primarily used in RPM’s to detect radiation within a container or vehicle.

Customised to your requirements

Scintacor screens couple well to light guides. With emission being efficiently collected from both surfaces, exceeding most customers’ requirements. The screens can be supplied as self-supporting sheets as well as mounted to a variety of substrates. The screens can be supplied to custom sizes or moulded into novel constructs.
