Course helps you understand cultural differences

As technology shrinks the world, the ability to communicate effectively across borders is increasingly important. The challenges of working internationally are overcome more easily if there is an understanding of different cultures, which is why Cambridge Network's Learning Collaboration offers Intercultural Skills workshops.

One of these - Indian Cultural Awareness - takes place on Friday 5 October at the Royal Society of Chemistry (Thomas Graham House, 290 Cambridge Science Park, CB4 0WF).

The objectives of this one-day course are to understand the impact of cultural differences when managing and motivating Indian colleagues and partners, and to enhance one’s ability to communicate with Indian colleagues - getting through to them and 'speaking their language'.

The course will also improve your understanding of the way Indians think, work and behave and improve your overall management of remote teams.
