D&A Creative creates animation and marketing campaign for Allia Impact Finance

D&A Creative was approached to develop a marketing campaign to promote Allia Impact Finance's Scottish Charitable Bonds programme.

Allia Impact Finance provides solutions that enable charities, social enterprises and mission-driven businesses to raise finance and deliver enhanced impact. A pioneer in impact finance, having launched its first bond to tackle unemployment in 1999, they have extensive experience in advising and arranging finance across sectors including housing, care and education – with particular expertise in bond issues to both institutional and retail investors.

D&A was approached to develop a marketing campaign to promote their Scottish Charitable Bonds programme, which provides loans and grants to housing associations in Scotland for building new affordable homes. Since 2014, Allia Impact Finance have been supporting the development of affordable housing across Scotland with nearly £70m of investment from the Scottish Government.

The materials targeted the housing associations, looking to raise awareness of the offering. D&A developed a friendly and informal look to the initial advert, mixing photography with an illustrative style and utilising the brands bold colouring for maximum impact. The initial advert design was developed into an animation to explain the process of the programme, and the team also developed a static infographic and an exhibition stand.

Response to the final campaign has been extremely positive:
“We absolutely love the designs D&A Creative have come up with for our campaign.  Financial services isn’t always the easiest to breathe life into, but this creative certainly does that in an interesting way that reflects the brand and message.  The theme works well across all materials, and the animation is just awesome – really helping to get across the simplicity of the product.  You have helped to evolve and shape our brand further, and so a big thanks for all your hard work on this.”
