Cofinitive shortlisted for International Trade Champion award at Business Weekly Awards

Cofinitive is delighted to announce it has been shortlisted among the brightest and best of elite Cambridge-based companies in the upcoming Business Weekly Awards.

The corporate communications consultancy, which specialises in branding, strategy, marketing communication & engagement, has been nominated for the International Trade Champion award, in recognition of their ongoing work on behalf of client, Cambridge China Centre.

The company has been integral to the awareness and engagement of the new Cambridge China Centre, steering an ongoing initiative designed to bring together key players in academia and business in both global-leading countries. It was recently noted that Cofinitive’s work to promote Cambridge China Centre “has been breathtakingly effective and is helping to build a new and highly valuable bridge of trust between the territories”.

The Business Weekly Awards recognises the contributions made by a range of inspiring and innovative businesses from a diverse and wide-reaching field.

The shortlist, which reads like a Who’s Who of elite businesses, includes AlphaBio Control, Arm, Avacta, Babraham Bioscience Technologies, Bridge Fibre, Camcon Medical, Cell Mogrify, Crescendo Biologics, CyanConnode, Domino Printing Sciences, Evonetix, Expedeon, FlexEnable, Fluidic Analytics, F-star, Glyconics, Healx, KisanHub, LIFNanoRx, Luminance, Microbiotica, OKRA Technologies, Owlstone Medical, PBD Biotech, PhoreMost, PragmatIC, PredictImmune, Priority Digital Health, Repositive, Speechmatics, Sphere Fluidics, Syrona Women, Third Light and Zettlex (UK) Ltd as well as Cofinitive.

Cofinitive recently featured as the fastest riser in Business Weekly’s New Year’s Honours Image Makers list, up from 8th to 5th position.

Cofinitive founder, Faye Holland - who has also been shortlisted in the Cambridge Judge Business School-sponsored Woman Entrepreneur of the Year in the same Awards - said: “I am so proud to see Cofinitive included in a shortlist of the most inspiring companies I can think of, and to see our work being recognised in this way. We live our core values of passion, integrity, clarity and inclusion, and so this is genuinely a huge honour for us.

“Our work with Cambridge China Centre has focused on highlighting the opportunities for a free-flow of trade between Cambridge and China, increasing and strengthening the relationship and access between the two.  Cambridge’s reputation as a safe place to do transformational business has been bolstered further, making this city even more attractive to inward investors. It has been a huge privilege to both witness and be a part of this ever-increasing success story.”

The prestigious Business Weekly Awards will be held at Queens’ College, Cambridge on Wednesday, March 20, 2019.
