Independent Cambridge - which champions the city's best independent traders, venues and events through its thriving community - has just published the fourth edition of The Indie, its full-colour tabloid magazine, published to promote indie people and businesses in Cambridge and the surrounding area.

Anne Beamish,The Indie's editor, says: "The latest issue of The Indie is out and it's getting bigger!

"We've got over 30 indie features as well as articles and what's on, and copies are winging their way round Cambridge and beyond (we've now got an official pick-up point at CB1 too).

"We're always keen to spread the indie word so we're getting more copies of The Indie out to lots of places, but we don't want to add to the problem of waste. One of the ways is to make sure copies are really wanted which is why we've launched IndieClub so people can subscribe and get their copies posted. There will be three issues in 2019: Spring, Summer and Autumn/Winter. The costs is £12 per year. To subscribe, just click here.“
