Sohaib qualified in Medicine at the University of Birmingham where he also completed a PhD in CNS regeneration. He practised medicine at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge and gained an MPhil in Bioscience Enterprise from the University of Cambridge. Before joining CIC he worked at Perella Weinberg Partners in London within the Healthcare M&A team.
Sohaib joined CIC in 2014 as its fourth employee. Since joining CIC he has worked with a range of promising companies with a particular emphasis on the life sciences sector. Most recently he led CIC’s investment in PolyProx Therapeutics.
