Cambridge Network Ltd is a membership organisation based in Cambridge UK.

This Privacy Policy describes how Cambridge Network protects and makes use of the information you give us when you use our website or make contact with us.

We do not disclose your details to any third parties except with your consent.


What information do we need and how will it be used?

When you join the Network or have contact with us we ask for your name, title, email address and company name plus some preferences for communication.  We may collect information when you request something of us (for example a training course) or give us feedback.  

We use this information to provide our networking and membership services to you.

If you are making a payment we may need to collect further details with your explicit permission. 

Depending on your preferences and your agreement, we will keep you up to date with relevant news, events, invitations and contacts.


Security

We hold your information securely.  To prevent unauthorized access to your information, we have physical and electronic safeguards and processes.

The new GDPR laws allow us to keep your information in our contacts database for two years.  We will ask for your permission to renew the information regularly.


Access to your information, its correction or removal

You can request a copy of the information that we hold about you.  You can ask us to remove all your details.  You can ask us at any time to stop contacting you.  We need minimal contact with you to maintain your membership with us, and we can explain this.


Tracking website usage

Website usage information is collected using cookies.  This information is used to track visitor use of the website and to compile non-personal statistical reports on website user activity, for example which pages on our website are most often visited.

Links from our site

Our website includes news, connections and links to other websites.

We review and moderate self-service additions to member accessible areas of the website, but do not control websites outside the Cambridge Network domain and do not have the resource to validate all the information added by members.  If you provide information to another website to which we link, please take care as we are not responsible for its security and privacy policies.


Summary

We will not release your information to third parties unless we have your permission or the law requires us to.  We take your privacy and security seriously and have put considerable effort into meeting the GDPR regulations.
