EY Entrepreneur Of The Year

Entrepreneur Of The Year is a regional, national and international annual award programme which identifies and recognises the achievements of outstanding entrepreneurs within successful growing dynamic businesses.

The awards were founded and are produced by Ernst & Young and are co-sponsored in the UK by The London Stock Exchange, The Times and UBS Wealth Management.

Entrepreneur Of The Year is also endorsed by the Institute of Directors, Community Action Network and Young Presidents Organisation.

This year, over 300 of the UK's most outstanding entrepreneurs were nominated for an Entrepreneur Of The Year award. Over 218 regional finalists were shortlisted after a rigorous selection process and at 5 awards banquets held in Scotland, the North, the Central region, the South and London, a total of 49 outstanding individuals were recognised as regional Entrepreneur Of The Year award recipients.

These award recipents went on to the national Entrepreneur Of The Year awards which took place on 6 October 2003 at Le Meridien Grosvenor House London.

The UK National Overall Entrepreneur Of The Year 2003 was awarded by a prestigious independent judging panel to Robert Wiseman, Managing Director of Wiseman Dairies plc. Robert also received the Master Entrepreneur of the Year award.
