For launch in Autumn 2018, new corded and cordless Hoover products required a strongly brand–led and well thought through design approach to the kind of floor stand displays that would be required to gain maximum impact, whilst taking into account retail space availability in a group of independent electrical retailers across the UK.
The new Hoover product designs are available, in the first instance, in the independent sector only and the brief was to display and promote both the corded and cordless versions with equal prominence on the POP units.
As the units were to be distributed to independent stores, it was important that the final design included the ability to flat pack and deliver to the stores with an ‘easy – to – assemble’ solution.
There are two versions of these robust metal structure floorstanding displays, to enable a single or double siting of the units in store.
These attractive and effective POP displays also feature updatable high quality digi – printed foamex graphics with strong brand and product benefit messaging.
Making sure that retail space usage was at the forefront of the design process was essential and the final ‘back to back’ design feature of the floor stand display unit was developed with this in mind.
There is visibility to the full range of products to enable the ‘browsing shopper’ to be converted into a new or returning ‘buying customer’, whilst ensuring that the floorstand display does not take up excessive and valuable store space.
With over 150 of these new displays already delivered, the initial results have been exceptional and there is an expectation of even greater further orders in early 2019 as the floorstand display units are taken on and placed by more of Hoovers important independent electrical outlets.
