On offer are places for seven people to undertake a structured Apprenticeship training programme, working in three different areas of its operation: Engineering, Business and Supply Chain, with five roles leading to a degree-level qualification.

Opportunities

Six places will be based at the company’s Bar Hill headquarters, in addition to one Degree Apprenticeship in Engineering at its Liverpool plant in Bootle.

Two Engineering places at Bar Hill lead to HNC and HND qualifications and a further one involving a Degree Apprenticeship at Anglia Ruskin University. The Supply Chain and Business posts will also lead to a degree.

Apprentices’ time will be split between work and college, to develop both academic and vocational qualifications.

Entry requirements vary according to Apprenticeship – full details are given in the link at the end of this article.

Earn and learn

Lizzy East, Apprentice Programme Manager at Domino says: “We are very excited to launch our Apprenticeships for entry in September 2017 which give us the opportunity to invest in and develop people within our organisation. It was also rewarding to receive one of CRC’s Employer of the Year Awards in recognition of our Programme.

“Apprenticeships provide a fantastic chance for people to earn whilst they learn, grow with the company and reach their full potential.

“The first group of Apprentices to embark on our Scheme last year are already reaping the rewards of a structured scheme which offers real-life experience in the workplace and also the chance to get the qualifications needed to progress in their chosen career.

“They particularly like the Domino Apprenticeship Scheme which they describe as ‘very well planned and thought out’ and also appreciate the friendly working environment and support from colleagues.
