e-Luminate Festival returns to Cambridge Judge from 12-17 February

Cambridge Judge Business School’s historic building will light up as part of the e-Luminate Cambridge Festival again this year. The annual festival, now running for the fourth year, offers a unique opportunity to discover the richness and diversity of Cambridge’s iconic buildings and public spaces – literally in a new light!

This year Cambridge Judge is taking part in the following ways:

Exterior lighting

The outside of the building will be lit up with an exterior lighting project ‘Illuminating the Heart of Cambridge.’

Sculpture

A sculpture using innovative glass technology called ‘Mirage’ will be located temporarily behind the conference desk on the ground floor. The exhibit will be open to the public during office hours.

Talk

Cambridge Judge will also be hosting a talk entitled ‘Harnessing Light in Medtech’ as part of the programme. Light affects almost every aspect of our lives, the more we learn about light the more its beauty and potential is realised. This talk explores the advancement in light technology and focuses on two different applications – treating Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) and loss of sight with people suffering diabetic retinopathy.

Date: 15 Feb 2016
Time: 18:00 – 19:00
Venue: LT1
This talk is free to attend but please book online with e-Luminate Cambridge Festival.
