A keynote speech for Envu

In October, Bayer sold its Environmental Science business to PE firm Cinven for $2.6B.

Now named Envu, the new standalone company provides solutions to advance the health of environments where we live, work, and play. For example, this diverse business offers vegetation management tools to improve railway safety and mosquito management tools to help prevent the spread of malaria and other mosquito-borne diseases.

They operate in a highly regulated industry, and within days of the company's formation, the Regulatory leaders from around the world met in Germany to talk strategy and culture. The team was looking for a keynote speaker who could help them examine the change mindset they will need to help them navigate their landscape as a new company.

In partnership with the Scottish Institute for Business Leaders (SIBL), Rich was selected as keynote speaker for the conference, where he challenged the audience to change the way they think and feel about change itself.

And following that, here's what one of the leaders at Envu had to say:  “The keynote Rich gave was perfect to set the stage for our new organization and we are already using 'adaptability' in our day-to-day discussions.” Roland Maynard, Global Regulatory Manager, Envu
