Medical Device Usability achieves ISO 9001: 2008

Medical Device Usability has just received ISO 9001: 2008 accreditation, following hard on the heels of ISO 13485: 2012 accreditation.

The ISO 9001:2008 accreditation specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organisation needs to demonstrate that it can consistently provide a product or service that meets customer requirements as well as the relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.  ISO 9001:2008 is intended to be applicable to all organisations, regardless of type, size and product provided.

Sally Featherstone, Operations Director at Medical Device Usability, said: “We are delighted to achieve this accreditation so quickly after the ISO 13485: 2012.  This demonstrates that Medical Device Usability is working to consistently high standards and it is pleasing to see that this has been recognised.  Thank you must also go to the tireless work carried out by Chris Rushforth in ensuring that we hit our deadlines to achieve the standard.”
