The Canadian Women's Trade Mission led by Mary Ng MP, Canada's Minister of International Trade, saw over 40 Women in Tech delegates from Canada in attendance. Co-founders of Metaverse Tech Ltd, Jon Fearon-Jones and Lijia Zhang were also present. With receptions at the Canadian High Commission in London and at Lancaster House (headquarters to the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office), the events featured opening speeches from Kemi Badenoch MP, Secretary of State for the Department of Business and Trade, Mary Ng MP, Canada's Minister of International Trade and Nusrat Ghani MP, UK Minister of State (Department of Business and Trade).

Co-founder Lijia Zhang remarks that: "This was a great chance to meet the Canadian delegation and members from the UK Department of Business and Trade, as well as the Canada-UK Chamber of Commerce. I am pleased to see the collaboration between both countries bringing benefits to UK and Canadian-based companies through increasing trade. This fits perfectly with Metaverse Tech Ltd's strategy in reaching out to the Canadian market. And we are now a member of the Canada-UK Chamber of Commerce!"

Founded in 1921, the Canada-UK Chamber of Commerce "facilitates meaningful connections between business leaders in Canada and the UK".
