Senior Associate Nick Phillips joins Birketts’ Commercial Litigation Team

Birketts’ top-tier Commercial Litigation Team has been boosted by the arrival of Senior Associate Nick Phillips.

Nick has acted for clients across a wide range of sectors, ranging from small businesses to international brands assisting them resolve all manner of commercial disputes, with particular emphasis on contractual and shareholder disputes.  He has also acted for insolvency practitioners, company directors and bankrupts in all aspects of insolvency litigation. He has a successful practice in pursing preference and other Insolvency Act claims against directors, along with obtaining possessions in bankruptcy. Nick has also repeatedly assisted those subjects to insolvency proceedings with defeating claims against them.

Prior to joining Birketts, Nick worked for a number of years as a Solicitor in London’s West End and later for a regional firm. He also has extensive experience in the High Court, as well as with offshore litigation in the Channel Islands and British Virgin Islands.
