Sinéad has spent more than 20 years’ practising law and tax in the UK and Ireland, handling the tax, Wills and trusts of high net worth individuals. This included working in some of the large accountancy firms where her work also included international tax advice ( stamp taxes ) for multi-national corporations and funds.
Speaking after her appointment, Sinéad said: “I’m excited to get to work with the team at Birketts; the firm is making great strides and the PCA Team in particular is filled with fantastic lawyers, so I know I will be working with an excellent team when working on behalf of my new clients. My career has repeatedly shown me the importance of balancing a detail-orientated approach with empathy and support, and this is something Birketts’ lawyers have in abundance. Many thanks to Louise for making me so welcome already.”

Sinéad will be based in Birketts’ Ipswich office, but will support colleagues across the firm’s Cambridge, Chelmsford, London, and Norwich offices.
