Mental Health First Aid training:  Learning Across Roles, Levels and Organisations

Mental Health First Aid - Let us help you get it right

Coming back to the office after the summer break can be a great time for forward planning and embedding positive behaviours. It can allow opportunities to revisit workplace well being in the run up to Christmas.

An area of training we are still very passionate about at Promote Mental Health is Mental Health First Aid. This can be a useful part of any workplace wellbeing strategy, it can upskill you employees and teams and help build psychological safety and a better workplace culture.

The nationally accredited course can help you to gain the skills and confidence to support someone experiencing poor mental health, spot early warning signs, and signpost to appropriate help. Develop the confidence to start the conversation, assess for crisis and risk, know when, how and where to signpost to professional services and know where the role stops in terms of boundaries and confidentiality.

Our September course will be delivered over two days, online, with certification valid for three years. Completion brings membership of the Association of Mental Health First Aiders, with the MHFAider Support App and Learning Hub access, and there's an optional RSPH Level 3 Award on top for those who want the formal qualification.

Joining a course with a variety of organisations around the table can offer; perspectives from differing job roles, discussions on how the MHFA role fits into different parts of the organisation, a wealth of knowledge and experience shared across roles and organisations.
