Longer evenings, better value

The big news? We've pushed our Monday to Thursday service all the way to 9pm. That means whether you're grabbing a midweek lunch or settling in for a proper evening out, the set menu is there for you, without the rush. Fridays remain available until 5pm for a relaxed early dinner or late lunch.

What's on the menu

From lighter bites to proper crowd pleasers, this menu is designed to suit every mood. Starters run from the elegant an Watermelon & Feta Salad with heritage tomatoes and lemon vinaigrette,  to the deeply satisfying silky Braised Pig Cheeks with torched goat cheese and apple celeriac mash. Each one pairs beautifully with a glass of Saffron Grange Brut from Essex.

✦ Goose Skirt Steak ✦

This is the one we've been excited about. Our Goose Skirt Steak arrives with Café de Paris butter, a crisp mixed green salad, and skin-on chips. A proper, generous plate for just a £6 supplement on the set menu. It's the kind of steak that belongs in a restaurant that takes its beef seriously.

Mains carry the same considered approach. The Confit Duck Leg comes with creamy mash and green beans alongside a glass of El Coto Rioja Reserva from Spain. Vegetarians are well looked after too — the Saffron Arancini Cake with grilled little gem and almond cream is a real standout, paired with a Domaine Soupé Chablis from Burgundy.

Finish with our Classic Cambridge Burnt Cream or Parker's Vanilla Ice Cream with the Sorbet of the Week for something lighter.
