Gulf Genesis was established by Dr Peter Dawe OBE. Through Gulf Genesis, Dr Dawe now focuses on helping businesses, organisations and communities prepare for major global disruption, systemic risks and supply chain instability.
A highly respected entrepreneur and technology innovator, Dr Dawe was among the earliest business leaders to recognise the transformational impact the internet would have on everyday life and commerce. Decades before online retail became mainstream, he predicted that consumers would routinely shop via the internet.
Over the course of his career, Dr Dawe has founded and supported a number of successful technology and communications ventures and has played a significant role in shaping the UK’s digital economy. He was also instrumental in the establishment of the Internet Watch Foundation, the UK organisation dedicated to combating illegal online content and improving internet safety.
