Cambridge Employment Seminar

Mishcon de Reya is delighted to invite you to our Employment Law Seminar where we will be explaining what employers need to do to be prepared for the coming months.

This year has felt like you need to run to stand still when it comes to the changes in employment law. Legislation is making its way through parliament (and will soon be in place) that will change the way that employers and employees interact.

Judges have also not been idle. There have been cases on what 'woman' means in the context of the Equality Act 2010, the extent to which employers can be liable for personal injury when an employee is off sick with stress, and whether external HR consultants can be liable for their input into a decision to dismiss. All in all, there is a lot to keep up with.

Speaker: Will Winch, Partner, Knowledge Lawyer: Will is a Partner, Knowledge Lawyer in the Employment department, dealing with contentious and non-contentious matters. He acts for employers and employees, and many of his clients come from media, advertising and the finance industry. He is a member of the firm's Recruitment group, advising recruitment agencies in relation to all types of employment issues, and a member of the firm's Technology group.
