Most support tickets in defence aren't technical failures. They're knowledge failures in a technical costume.
On Friday 2 October we're putting that to three people who deal with the consequences.
THE PANEL & HOST
- Lucy Walton - Programme Manager, Support and Services Transformation, BAE Systems
- Chris Parker - Business Development Manager, Air Training, Lockheed Martin UK
- Jane Greenman - Chief Operating Officer, Saudi Arabia and Central Asia, Thales
- Hosted by Amy O'Sullivan, Operations Lead for the Greater Lincolnshire Regional Defence & Security Cluster.
All are speaking from their own experience, in a personal capacity, not on behalf of their employers.
THE QUESTION - Can AI-powered learning become defence's first line of support?
WHY THIS ISN'T A WEBINAR
You won't be watching a grid of faces. You'll be in a room. A stage, three panellists live on screens, and tiered seating with other people in it who you can walk over to and talk to.
All from your own desk and direct through your normal browser.
AFTERWARDS
Branded booths open at the back for half an hour. Wander over, talk to people, stay as long as it's useful. This is the part most people come for, so we've put it after the panel rather than squeezed in before.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- The arena opens at 10:15 if you want to test your setup before we start.
- Panel runs 10:30 to 11:20.
- Booths and networking until 12:00.
- Runs in your browser. Nothing to install, no VR headset.
- Free to attend.
Please join on a personal laptop - mobile phones won't work, and corporate networks often block new domains.
Co-sponsored by Capytech and the Greater Lincolnshire Regional Defence & Security Cluster.
RECORDING
The panel will be recorded and we may use short clips afterwards to promote future events. Other people in the room may appear in it. The booths and networking afterwards will not be recorded.
