Over the past half a century, the group of technology and bioscience-based companies in and around Cambridge has become one of Europe's most successful and best-known clusters of its kind.

Isaac Newton, Charles Darwin, Crick and Watson, and Stephen Hawking are some of the most famous of Cambridge’s scientists whose ideas have changed the world. Nowadays, Cambridge researchers continue to make new discoveries and their work, once is commercialised, is behind much of Cambridge’s success and growth – and this is called the ‘Cambridge Phenomenon’.

On the 9th May, Cambridge Cleantech will be welcoming the Belgian business delegation focusing on cleantech during their official Belgian Trade Mission to the UK.

Cambridge Cleantech: Cambridge Cleantech connects innovators, corporates, academics, SMEs and investors for a smarter, more sustainable future. As a leading membership organisation, we are a powerful catalyst in the cleantech sector responding to global sustainability challenges.

Firmly at the heart of the Cambridge Phenomenon, we operate as a global hub for cleantech innovation and are linked to some of the most highly innovative centres both in the UK, including London and Oxford, and internationally through our global cluster partners.

Join us in Cambridge for a day of interactive talks, exchange of knowledge and experience focusing on Energy Transition, Smart Cities and Transport, with representatives of the Cambridge Cleantech Cluster (academics, corporates, innovators, smes’) and with Belgian SMEs and corporates.
