Could your organisation survive a Home Office compliance visit

For this Cambridge Network event we welcome back Davidson Morris.

For many UK employers, the Sponsor Licence has become one of the most valuable assets the business owns. Lose it and you may lose your sponsored workforce, your recruitment strategy, your ability to recruit internationally and potentially the confidence of your clients and regulators. Yet many organisations continue to believe that Sponsor Licence compliance is simply an administrative exercise.

It isn't.

It is now one of the highest enforcement priorities for UK Visas & Immigration. In 2025 more than 3,100 Sponsor Licenses were revoked – the highest annual total since records began in 2012. The majority of Sponsor Licence holders do not lose their licence because of fraud. Many lose it because of failures in day-to-day compliance.

The Home Office is making greater use of:

  • payroll data
  • HMRC information
  • intelligence-led investigations
  • cross-government data matching
  • targeted compliance visits
  • enhanced sponsor monitoring

This means compliance failures that may once have gone unnoticed are now much more likely to be identified.

The question isn't whether the Home Office is increasing enforcement: The question is whether your organisation is ready when it arrives.

Join us over lunch to find out where the real risks sit in your business, and what it takes to close them.

The panellists:

  • Anne Morris, Founder & Managing Director
