Join us at the new Huawei premises for a visit from Delegates of the Diplomatic Advisory Hub, a collaboration between the British Chambers of Commerce and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. They will be discussing key topics of what the Diplomatic Advisory Hub will provide for businesses, including strategic advice and connectivity – so they can feel more confident to do business overseas.
The Hub is both a front door and a feedback loop. It’s a front door for businesses to tap into geopolitical advice, and a feedback loop so that what businesses are seeing in supply chains and boardrooms flows back to our diplomats and policy makers.
The Diplomatic Advisory Hub sits alongside the British Chambers of Commerce’s wider trade support for businesses, and the other support for exporters offered by the UK Government.
Richard Oppenheim, Director at the Diplomatic Advisory Hub, and Steven Lynch MBE, Director at the British Chambers of Commerce, will be speaking at the event, ensuring to answer any questions businesses may have about the project.

- Geopolitical risk management – sanctions exposure, supply-chain disruption, partner due diligence, and how smaller firms can build basic resilience without needing in-house teams
- EU Reset – what is HMG’s policy on our relationship with the EU and ‘reset’? What is the direction of travel, parameters for timelines and what is realistic vs signaling? How might geopolitics play into that and what are the consequences, and considerations to think about for SMEs?
- US Trade Policy and Tariffs – Trump administration policy, how to navigate, what to expect/ plan for – particularly as an SME, and state by state opportunities in the US
