The multi stage process aims to address the challenges faced when commercialising these types of projects. A £75k package of prizes provided by the partners is to be shared among the top projects.
When?
Applications close on 30 July 2021. Applicants who pass the entry criteria will be provided with information on the subsequent stages of the Challenge.

Competition timeline
Workshop
Projects matching the entry criteria will be invited to attend a range of workshops delivering relevant content from the Challenge partners.
The virtual launch event is on July 8 (5-6.30pm). In this introductory session, not only will you learn more about The RAPID Challenge and why you should apply, but you will also hear from experts in the field of innovation & start-ups. Find out more and sign up here.
Interview
Five successful submissions will be invited to the interview stage to discuss their project and business plans in more detail with the judging panel.
Final
The finalists will have the opportunity to present their project to a wider audience of partners, affiliates, invited guests and investors.
