This half-day event will examine the growing shift from hospital-centred systems to decentralised, community-based healthcare models. Drawing on real-world examples, the session will explore the infrastructure, equity and accessibility challenges that must be overcome – and how data-driven innovation and new technologies are enabling this transformation.

Expert speakers confirmed for the event include:

  • Dr Alexis Joannides, Honorary Consultant Neurosurgeon at Addenbrookes, Head of Bioinformatics for Cambridge University Hospitals Trust and Director of Clinical Medicine at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge
  • James Morrow, GP and Partner, Granta Medical Practices
  • Adam Igra, Director of Innovation, Innovation, Digital & Improvement Directorate, Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
  • Ian Newington, Project Manager, NIHR HealthTech Research Centre in Brain Injury

The event runs from 13:30–17:00 and will be followed by the CW Member Summer BBQ, offering further opportunity for networking and discussion.

Employees of CW member organisations and those working in the NHS can attend for free. Tickets for non-members are £50 plus VAT.
