Major presence for UK at world's largest general science meeting

UK researchers will play a leading role at the world’s largest general scientific meeting this week, with presentations on latest developments in topics ranging from neuroscience and patient safety in hospitals, to combatting fake news, living healthier and longer lives, and reducing the impact of climate change.

The American Association for the Advancement for Science (AAAS) will hold its 185th annual meeting in Washington DC from February 14-17, and is expected to attract around 8,000 delegates.
