Napp Pharmaceuticals Ltd has been recognised as a Top 75 Company in the East of England, for the second time by Best Companies TM. The prestigious Best Companies to Work For list is published annually, consisting of the companies who scored highest on the Best Companies Index (BCI). The BCI score is calculated from responses to a comprehensive employee engagement survey.
Napp has been ranked 20 out of 75 companies in the East and recognised as an ‘outstanding’ company. Commenting on the achievement, Hywel Day, Managing Director of Napp, said: “This award is a reflection on the incredible attitude of everyone who works at Napp. We are a partnership-based organisation, and that extends to how we work internally with every colleague, ensuring that we work collaboratively and engage everyone in contributing to the successes of our business. We are humbled that our employees have recognised Napp as a great place to work and we will strive to continue building upon this.”
Napp has also been awarded a prestigious 2 Star Best Companies accreditation, recognising Napp’s ‘outstanding’ commitment to workplace engagement. The results of the annual survey are collated by Best Companies, and the companies that score the highest are recognised in a list that is published annually. The highest scoring companies are awarded an accreditation of one, two or three stars – which is a reflection of a company’s commitment to employee engagement.
Best Companies’ ambition is to measure workplace engagement in companies across the UK to help them better understand how to build a happier workforce, measuring them on eight workplace factors; leadership, management, the company, personal growth opportunities, the team, wellbeing, how employees feel about their pay and benefits and the extent to which the company gives back to society. The award aims to get to the heart of what people want and expect from their working lives.
CEO and Founder Jonathan Austin of Best Companies has said: “I would like to congratulate Napp Pharmaceuticals on their achievement of a Two Star level of Accreditation status. Best Companies have been producing the Accreditation standard since 2006 to acknowledge excellence in the workplace. We are proud that organisations like Napp Pharmaceuticals focus on their employees and have been rewarded with outstanding levels of engagement.”
