The 20m x 25m glazed structure, standing a majestic 7.8m high, is the only one of its kind in the UK and was installed in just over two weeks.
VW chose Goodwood to launch new versions of key models, reveal an amazing GTi concept car and unveil their new electric car technology. The fully covered space, complete with merchandise store, simulators, video wall and raised VIP hospitality area gave VW owners and motor enthusiasts unlimited access to all the vehicles on the stand – and plenty of opportunity for the VW sales teams to engage where appropriate.
The structure was installed on the hill section in the grounds of the famous Goodwood House Estate and required the heavy duty flooring to sit on an adjustable leg system to level the structure.
Bespoke carpentry work shaped the steps needed to access the front and sides of the stand and extensive cladding created the curved frontage with stretched white vinyl creating a clean, sophisticated finish – allowing the VW brand to shine out amongst the major car brands also on show at the event.
Accio Group own the structure used to create the stand and are looking forward to working with brand owners and businesses looking for revolutionary outdoor event or temporary retail solutions, where the environment can be fully fitted to take sophisticated electronics, multi-media application, lighting and heating.
