Adaxis and Oxfam ban blisters for marathon runners

Thousands of people enter marathon events for charity each year. Many end up with blisters, some with painful nipple rash. ReSkin skin patches absorb and redirect friction and prevent issues as well as help with existing blisters or skin issues. Oxfam are working on a "Marathon kit" that will also contain a sample and leaflet on the novel ReSkin patches.

ReSkin patches were designed for sports people. They allow you to continue your enjoyment or performance despite skin irritation issues.

They are ultra-thin and flexible so they do not hinder any movement.

They absorb and redirect friction so the skin underneath does not suffer. If applied to an existing blister they provide immediate relief and allow you to continue.

They can be re-used / repositioned so you don't have to carry them around. Simply put some on your arm and use them as and when needed.

For all the other benefits please visit www.reskinsport.co.uk

Oxfam are very appreciative of their marathon runners and also want to provide the best support possible. They are very interested in the benefits of the ReSkin patch and will make sure the information reaches runners before the race.

Adaxis also work with other groups / organistions (e.g. Run England) as the main product, although called Heel Patch, is versatile and can be used anywhere on the body where skin issues occur.
